Found Fallacies

           "The Wife Beater" Paragraph 15
"One woman even stated that it," (the wife-beater), "even made guys look manly". In this statement the author uses an appeal to a doubtful authority as " one woman" doesn't speak for the population of women, and nor does the woman appear to have any qualification for making such a statement with any validity.
           "The Wife Beater" Paragraph 16
" So manly equals violence?"  The author clearly creates a hasty generalization in making this conclusion, in no way does a popular clothing item contribute or cause domestic abuse.  Claiming manliness is equivocal to violence is something far outside of reach with the given argument, let alone the fact that she is not a well versed expert on all of man domestic violence interactions, though she does have experience on the subject she cannot apply it to all men.
            "The Wife Beater" Paragraph 11
"Fashion Headlines reveal that we want to overthrow 90's grunge and return to the shoulder pads and hardware studded suits.  Am I reading to much into a fashion statement that the return is also to male dominance where physical abuse is acceptable as a means of control"  The author is presuming a non-sequitor event, trying to state that changing to an older style clothing, we will adopt older style behavior, such as abusive tendencies in this case.  The event of reverting to 80's style clothes does not ensure the following of a return to 80's style ideas or actions.
